(CAMBRIDGE ROAD, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Cambridge Road, Birstall at a point outside property No. 2 PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Cambridge Road, Leyland Road, IndustrialAvenue, Kirkgate, Bradford Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 31 July 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(SHERWOOD AVENUE, GOMERSAL, CLECKHEATON)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Sherwood Avenue, Gomersal from a point outside property No. 7 to a point opposite property No. 7 PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Sherwood Avenue, Quarry Road, Oxford Road, Spen Lane, Shirley Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence at 00:00 on Wednesday, 29 July 2026 and remain in force until 00:59 hours on 4August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVENthat the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the following lengths of road in
Dewsbury:
Road Closure
Hirst Road - from its junction with Halifax Road to a point
to the rear of No. 70 Victoria Street
Point Closures
The following lengths of road at their junction with
Halifax Road:-
Victoria Road,Albion Street, Commercial Street, Bath Street
PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the following routes:Hirst Road - via the unaffected length of Hirst Road,
Victoria Road, Spring Street,Albion Street, Bright Street, Commercial Road
Bath Street - via the unaffected length of Bath Street, Northfield Street, Northfield Road, Halifax Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 28August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(PARK DRIVE, MIRFIELD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OFTRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Park Drive, Mirfield from a point outside property No. 17 to a point outside property No. 4 PROVIDED THATsuch prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Park Drive, Blake Hall Drive and vice versa. Dated this 09 July 2026.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 29 July 2026 between 09:30 hours to 17:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(GEORGE STREET, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OFTRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of George Street, Dewsbury from its junction with Central Street to its junction with Dewsbury Ring Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Central Street, Wormald Street,Ashworth Road, Wellington Road, Dewsbury Ring Road. It is intended that the closure will commence at 05:00 hours on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 05:00 hours on 24August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(BRADBURYSTREET, DEWSBURY)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Bradbury Street, Dewsbury from a point to the side of property No.
52 Myrtle Road to a point opposite No. 52 Myrtle Road PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Myrtle Road, North Road,Access off North Road Gyratory, Bradbury Street. It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 21August 2026 (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(MOOR LANE, BIRKENSHAW, BRADFORD)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that length of Moor Lane, Birkenshaw from a point adjacent Gomersal Park Hotel to its junction with Norwood Crescent PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Moor Lane, Bottoms Lane, Norwood Grove, Kingsley Drive, Whitehall Road East, Bradford Road, Dewsbury Road.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 27 July 2026 and remain in force until 29 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
(NELSON STREET, BIRSTALL, BATLEY)
(TEMPORARYPROHIBITION OFTRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Borough of Kirklees by reason of works proposed to be carried out on or near the road has made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in that short length of Nelson Street, Birstall at its junction with High Street PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works to be carried out on or near the closed length of road or to vehicles requiring access up to the point(s) of the closure.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via the unaffected length of Nelson Street, Huddersfield Road, Bradford Road, Kirkgate, Low Lane and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will commence on Monday, 13 July 2026 and remain in force until 26 July 2026 between 08:00 hours to 16:00 hours only (although it can remain in force for any period up to 18 months if necessary).
