(AYSGARTH AVENUE, LIGHTCLIFFE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Aysgarth Avenue from No. 16 to No. 11 for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Fairless Avenue, Nunlea Royd, Bentley Avenue and vice versa. Resident Access will be maintained. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BRIER HEY LANE, MYTHOLMROYD)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brier Hey Lane from its junction with Burnley Road to The Briers for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14thJuly 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BRIDLEWAY TODMORDEN 009, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Secretary of State for Transport has given a direction under section 15(5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act that the Borough Council of Calderdale (Bridleway Todmorden 009, Todmorden) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024 (the “Order”) shall continue in force for a further period from the date it would have otherwise expired. The Order was made on 27 November 2024 for safety reasons (a bridleway). It came into force on 13 December 2024 and its effect is that no person shall proceed in the length of Bridleway Todmorden 009 from Point A to Point B (as per map on site) for a distance of approximately 137 metres. Had the direction not been given, the Order would have expired on 13 June 2026. It will now remain in force until either 13 December 2026 or the completion of the works, whichever is the sooner. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period. The prohibition does not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the bridleway. For alternative route see map on site.

(CHURCH STREET, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Roadway UK Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Church Street from its junction with Horton Street to Prescott Street roundabout for a distance of approximately 180 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Horton Street, Union Street, Prescott Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 20:00 & 05:00.

(NORLAND TOWN ROAD, NORLAND)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Norland Town Road from its junction with London Road to Lower Old Hall Farm for a distance of approximately 200 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Berry Moor Road, Sowerby Croft Lane, Spark House Lane, London Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00.

(SADDLEWORTH ROAD, RIPPONDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Saddleworth Road from Barsey Farm to Branch Road for a distance of approximately 208 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Stainland Road, Branch Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00.

(STYES LANE, SOWERBY)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Styes Lane from Pinfold Lane to Ellen Holme Road for a distance of approximately 470 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Pinfold Lane, Acre Lane, Brocks, Jerry Field Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Lane from its junction with Hathershelf Lane to Hand Carr Lane for a distance of approximately 550 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Cragg Road, Blackstone Edge Road, Sykes Gate, New Road, Folly Hall Lane, High Stones Road, Steep Lane, Shield Hall Lane and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Sowerby Lane from its junction with Hand Carr Lane to Clunters Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Lane, Hand Carr Lane, Hathershelf Lane, The Long Causeway, Cat Lane, Clunters Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Centurion Traffic have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Vickerman Street from its junction with Parkinson Lane to No. 26 for a distance of approximately 130 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Plum Street. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th July 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 16:00.

(SCOUT ROAD, MYTHOMROYD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Scout Road from 67m east of Scout Bottom Lane to 122m west of Hathershelf Lane for a distance of approximately 930 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Lane, Acre Lane, Shield Hall Lane, Steep Lane, High Stone Road, Folly Hall Lane, New Road, Sykes Gate, Blackstone Edge Road, Cragg Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 16th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16h July 2026. (WESTERCROFT LANE, NORTHOWRAM)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Westercroft Lane from No. 30 to No. 51 for a distance of approximately 80 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Bradford Road, Halifax Road, Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Total Resources have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hathershelf Lane from its junction with Scout Road to The Long Causeway for a distance of approximately 890 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Lane, Clunters Lane, Ringstone Hill Lane, The Long Causeway and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 17th July 2026. (HENSHAW ROAD, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Henshaw Road from Shaw Farm Cottage to 11 Hollins Villas for a distance of approximately 33 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 27th July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Shay Lane/ Holdsworth Road from Beechwood Avenue to Holmfield Industrial Estate for a distance of approximately 475 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Shay Lane, Keighley Road, Wrigley Hill, Whitehill Road, Moor Bottom Road, Holdsworth Road and vice versa. (VICTORIA AVENUE, ELLAND) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Victoria Avenue from No. 9 to No. 20 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Victoria Avenue, Jepson Lane, Park Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 27th July 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st July 2026. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Coronation Terrace from No. 32 to No. 34 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. No alternative route available – access will be maintained for residents. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Field Top Road from Foxcroft Drive to Oaklands for a distance of approximately 455 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Field Top Road, Castlefields Road, Castlefields Drive, Thornhill Road, Bramston Street, Thornhill Road, Lillands Lane, Oaklands and vice versa. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Elland Lane, Elland Riorges Link, Dewsbury Road, New Hey Road, Delf Hill and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Savile Road from King Street to No. 10 Savile Road for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via King Street, Church Lane, Mytholm Bank, Bank Terrace, and vice versa. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. (WAKEFIELD ROAD, SOWERBY BRIDGE) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Wakefield Road from its junction with Bolton Brow to No. 23 Wakefield Road for a distance of approximately 42 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Bolton Brow, Upper Bolton Brow, Rochdale Road, Skircoat Moor Road, Dryclough Lane, Huddersfield Road, Salterhebble Hill, Huddersfield Road, Stainland Road, Wakefield Road and vice versa.
