NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Street Lane from its junction with Coaley Lane for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction on Thursday 16th July 2026.

NOTICE is further given that there is no alternative route for vehicles affected by the order, the road is a cul de sac.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Gas maintenance).

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Wales Road, Lestermoor Avenue, Sycamore Avenue and vice versa.

The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Telecom works).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Friday 17th July and Monday  20th July 2026 between 11pm and 6am each day.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Canklow roundabout, Centenary Way, Ickles roundabout, Sheffield Road, A631 Bawtry Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (sewer repairs).

SCHEDULE

(i)    A631 Bawtry Road from its junction with Atlas Street to its junction with Canklow rounabout.

(ii)   Whitehill Lane from its junction with A631 Bawtry Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via local diversion routes. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (repairs to electric apparatus).

NOTICE is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council intends (not less than seven days from the date of this Notice) to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the two parts of road specified in the Schedule to this Notice from Monday 20th July until Tuesday 18th August 2026. NOTICE is further given that there are no alternative routes, the roads are cul de sacs. Access will be maintained for residents and emergency vehicles.

The reason for the prohibitions is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.

Pre warning signs will be placed on site prior to the commencement of works.

NOTICE is further given that the alternative route will be via Lordens Hill, Lidgett Lane, New Road, Laughton Road, Church Lane, Littlefield Road, Undergate Road Roundabout, Undergate Road, Laughton Road and vice versa. The reason for the prohibition is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road (Carriageway resurfacing).

Notice is hereby given that Rotherham Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be to impose changes to the speed limit affecting the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. A copy of the proposed Order, a map relating to it and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Rotherham Borough Council, Riverside House, Main Street, Rotherham S60 1AE.

Rotherham) (Speed Limits and Speed Derestriction) (Consolidation) Order 2004 and to reduce from 50 miles hour to 30 miles per hour the speed limit

for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A57 Sheffield Road specified item (iii) of the schedule to this notice and to reduce from 40 miles hour to 30 miles per hour the speed limit for motor vehicles travelling along that part of A57 Sheffield Road specified item (iv) of the schedule to this notice from Sunday 19th. The reason for the prohibition and suspension is because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads (electrical works in the carriageway).

(i)    Doncaster Road from its junction with Sandymount Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a westerly direction (the alternative route will be via Doncaster Road, A633 Dearneway Roundabout, A633 Station Road, Manvers Way Station Road Roundabout, A633 Manvers Way, Manvers Way Wath Road Roundabout and vice versa).

(ii)   Sandymount Road from its junction with Doncaster Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a southerly direction (the alternative route will be via Sandymount Road, Avenue Road, Doncaster Road and vice versa).
