(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (C81 Hardacres, Eccles) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 14 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect for a period of one day between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00.  The Order is required for BT works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the C81 at Hardacres, Eccles.

The alternative route for northbound traffic is via the C81, C93, B461, A697 and C81 to the point of closure, for southbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk

(D75/6 EDRINGTON, BERWICK- UPON-TWEED)

(TEMPORARY CLOSING) ORDER 2026

The Scottish Borders Council (D75/6 Edrington, Berwick-upon-Tweed) (Temporary Closing) Order 2026 has been made under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The Order, which has a maximum duration of 18 months, will come into force on 13 July 2026 and is expected to remain in effect until 17 July 2026 between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 each day. The Order is required for Go Fibre works.

When the Order comes into effect no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle along the D75/6 at Edrington, Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The alternative route for eastbound traffic is via the A6105, A1, U100 and D75/6 to the point of closure, for westbound traffic the reverse of the foregoing. A map showing the restriction and alternative routes can be seen at www.tellmescotland.gov.uk
