CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL

(MOVING TRAFFIC) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO.) ORDER 20**

BRADFORD BUS HOTSPOT SCHEME – BOLTON ROAD/STONE HALL ROAD, BRADFORD

NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council proposes to make the above Order under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which will be to introduce the following on the A6167 Bolton Road in the Eccleshill area:-

1. ‘Bus lane with flow in a west bound direction between the junction with Pullan Avenue and a point near 18 Thornbridge Mews to operate Monday to Friday from 7.30AM to 9.30AM and from 4pm to 6.30pm.

2. Cycle lane with flow in a westbound direction between a point near 12 Thornbridge Mews and the junction with Idle Road to operate, 24 hours seven days a week.

A copy of the draft Order together with a map showing the affected roads and the Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY or examined on the council web site at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order or obtained from Assistant Engineer, John Clark, WYTF Team & Highway Services by email John.Clark2@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number PTH/HS/105805/TRO/JC.

If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing either by post to the address below or by e-mail to objections@bradford.gov.uk to be received no later than 12 noon on 30th July 2026 quoting reference:- CORP/PCD/SA/421106
