On 3 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- 1. the westbound carriageway of Tattenham Way (B2221) Burgh Heath as extends from its junction with Meadow Way (X25283) to its junction with Brighton Road (A317) and 2. Picquets Way (D1014) Burgh Heath as extends from its junction with Tattenham Way (B2221) to its junction with Picquets Way (D1014) (as leads to the odd numbers between 35 to 45 Picquets Way).
Alternative route – 1. Anti-clockwise: A217 (Brighton Road), A2022 (Fir Tree Road) and A240 (Reigate Road). clockwise: A217 (Brighton Road) and A240 (Reigate Road). 2. A217 (Brighton Road) and The Drive.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate drainage improvements and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 July 2026 for 2 months between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner.

On 3 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Woodhurst Lane (D424) Oxted as extends from its junction with Oast Road (D424) to its junction with Church Way (D424).

These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 20 July 2026 for 5 days between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation for 24-hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

On 3 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering, proceeding or waiting in that length of Aperdele Road (D2504) Leatherhead as extends from its junction with Kingston Road (B2430) to its junction with Clare Crescent (D2539).

On 3 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- 1. the westbound carriageway of Station Road (D1385) Whyteleafe as extends from its junction with Godstone Road (A22) to a point 18 metres east of this junction and 2. Salmons Lane (D1388) Whyteleafe as extends from its junction with Godstone Road (A22) to a point 35 metres west of this junction.

On 3 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in those lengths of road or any part or parts thereof described in the Schedule to this notice; and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Rook Lane (B2031) Chaldon Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026”, “The Surrey County Council Hilltop Lane (D388) Chaldon and Merstham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and “The Surrey County Council Hilltop Lane (D388) Chaldon and Merstham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as they relate to the lengths of road described in the Schedule to this notice.

On 08 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Alexander Road (D1303) Reigate as extends from its junction with (D1303) Stuart Crescent to its junction with (C223) Prices Lane; (b) Prices Lane (C223) Reigate as extends from its junction with (D1303) Alexander Road to its junction with (C223) Sandcross Lane; (c) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Reigate and Banstead Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2026” insofar as it affects that length of road in part (b) of this Notice. Alternative Route: (1) Sandcross Lane, Lyndhurst Road, Stuart Road, and Stuart Crescent, or this route in reverse; (2) Prices Lane, (A217) Dovers Green Road, and Sandcross Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate installation of a trunk main works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 6 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 22 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 08 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of; (a) Mid Street (D384) South Nutfield; (b) North Station Approach (D383) South Nutfield. Alternative Route: Sandy Lane. These works will be carried out in 4 phases. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works will be carried out in 4 phases. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 15 weeks, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 20 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses and all vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising.

This Order is required to facilitate bridge examination works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Centurion/Amey Consulting South East Anglia within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 10pm and 6am, within the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 23 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access is affected by this closure.

On 08 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 of the Act the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. This Order is required to facilitate the prevention of vehicular congestion while works are being carried on (A245) Kingston Road for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. For part (a) these works will be nightworks, between the hours of 8pm and 6am Monday to Friday only; For parts (b) and (c); these works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible within the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 23 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures, which are anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. This Order is required to facilitate gas mains connection works for, or on behalf of SGN. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 4 days, between the hours of 8am and 23.59pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 03 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via road plates, if required, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time, under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period. Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of; (a) Woodland Way (D1442) Caterham as extends from its junction with (D1441) War Coppice Road and for a distance of 44 metres in a northerly direction along Woodland Way; (b) Suspend “The Surrey County Council Various Roads in Tandridge Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order (No.3) 2026” insofar as it affects that length of road specified in Part (a) of this Notice. Alternative Route: Weald Way and Coppice Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate mains water connection works for, or on behalf of SES Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 5 days, between the hours of 8am and 4.30pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 03 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. All other vehicular traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.
