What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
BOROUGH OF TRAFFORD (TRAFFORD WHARF ROAD/VICTORIA PLACE, TRAFFORD PARK) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in order to facilitate safe movement of pedestrians for access and egress at O2 Victoria Warehouse, Trafford Borough Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit driving as follows: -

Trafford Wharf Road/Victoria Place: From Trafford Road to Sir Alex Ferguson Way

The alternative route is via: Village Way, Warren Bruce Road and vice versa

The Order will come into operation on 3rd August 2026 and will continue until the proposed works have been completed, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
