The A2 GLA Road (Kidbrooke Park Road, Royal Borough of Greenwich) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Stopping) Order 2026
- Transport for London hereby gives notice that it intends to make the above named Traffic Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 for the purpose specified in paragraph 2. The effect of the Order is summarised in paragraph 3.
3. The purpose of the Order is to enable Thames Water repair works to take place at A2 GLA Side Road Kidbrooke Park Road in the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
4. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any vehicle from:
(1) entering or proceeding in a southerly direction on Kidbrooke Park Road from its junction with Shooters Hill Road to the extended south-eastern building line of No. 54 Shooters Hill Road;
(2) stopping at the southern kerb-line of Shooters Hill Road between its junctions with Kidbrooke Park Road and Lambourne Place.
The Order will be effective at certain times from 9.30 AM on the 17th July 2026 until 5.00 PM on the 19th July 2026 or when the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. The prohibitions will apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. The prohibitions will not apply in respect of:
(1) any vehicle being used for the purposes of those works or for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(2) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a person authorised by Transport for London.
6. At such times as the prohibitions are in force alternative routes will be indicated by traffic signs for westbound traffic via Shooters Hill Road, Prince of Wales Road, Montpelier Row, Montpelier Vale, Lee Road, Eltham Road and Kidbrooke Park Road to normal route of travel. For eastbound traffic via Shooters Hill Road, Well Hall Road, Rochester Way, Kidbrooke Way and Kidbrooke Park Road to normal route of travel.
