NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road closure and speed limit reduction to facilitate cycle lane work proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Cliff Road, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Headingley & Hyde Park Ward between its junctions with Woodhouse Street and Woodhouse Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Woodhouse Ln, Rampart Rd, Wood’se St and Woodh’se St, Rampart Rd, Cathcart St, St Mark’s Rd, A660 Wood’se Ln and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 15th July 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by 26th August 2026. All communications with regard to this Notice should be addressed to streetworks.coordin@leeds.gov.uk for the attention of K Krawczyk.
