What is happening?
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984- SECTION (14.1)
The council of the London Borough of Enfield intend to make the Temporary Traffic Orders described below.
BARROWELL GREEN N21
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” 20 July 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road between No.s 70/72-96 and No.s 77/79-85.
WESTPOLE AVENUE, BRAMLEY ROAD, OAKWOOD PARADE N14
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 20 July 2026 for 11 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;
Westpole Avenue
- No Entry on this road at both its junctions with Bramley Road and its junction with Access Road from Westpole Avenue to 2-158 Bramley Road and;
Bramley Road
- No left turn from Bramley Road and no left turn from Access Road from Westpole Avenue to 2-158 Bramley Road into Westpole Avenue; and
Oakwood Parade
- Suspend parking between its junction with Westpole Avenue and No.206 Oakwood Parade.
BULLSMOOR LANE EN1
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 20 July 2026 for 1 week or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on this road, from its junction with Bulls Cross and the entrance of Capel Manor School on both sides of the road.
UPTON ROAD N18
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 20 July 2026 for 18 months or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking on the south side of this road, between No.s 34-38.
ST PETERS ROAD N9, COWLAND AVENUE EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Highway Works
Operational Date and times:
St Peters Road
“Between 08:00 – 18:00hrs” on 20 July 2026, for 1 day until works are completed;
Cowland Avenue
“At any time” on 20 July 2026, for 5 weeks or until works are completed;
The general effect of the Order would be;
St Peters Road
- close this whole road and suspend parking on both sides of the road between No.s 50-128;
Cowland Avenue
- close this road from outside No.50 Cowland Avenue to its junction with The Ride; and
- suspend parking from outside No.50 Cowland Avenue to its junction with The Ride.
CHURCH HILL N21
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 21 July 2026 for 15 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road from its junction with Hill House Close, westbound for approximately 55m.
THE GREEN N9
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 21 July 2026 for 16 weeks or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to;
- suspend parking on this road for approximately 150m between Balham Road and Hertford Road N9, on the northeast side of the carriageway;
- close the cycle lane from Balham Road N9 on the northeast side for approximately 110m to Church Street N9.
GOLDSDOWN ROAD EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“Between 10:00 – 14:30 hrs” on 21 July 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from a point between No.s 1-19, on both sides of the road.
BRICK LANE EN1
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Crane Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 21 July 2026 for 15 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road on a phased basis, between No.s 33-123 approximately 100m on both sides of the road.
ALMA ROAD EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 27 July 2026 for 10 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to close this road from its junction with Napier Road to its junctions with South Street and Woodall Road for approximately 50m westwards.
WOODALL ROAD EN3
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 22 July 2026 for 4 weeks or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be to suspend parking from the existing restrictions at the junction with South Street EN3 for approximately 90m on both sides of the road.
BAKER STREET EN1, PRIMROSE AVENUE EN1
Reason for 14(1) Order – Essential Utility Works
Operational Date and times:
“At any time” on 21 July 2026 for 3 days or until works are completed.
The general effect of the Order would be;
Primrose Avenue
- to suspend parking from outside No.s 322-354/356, on both sides of the road;
Baker Street
- to suspend parking from its junction with Primrose Avenue to No.60 Primrose Avenue, on both sides of the road.
