THE HARINGEY (FERRY LANE PUBLIC REALM WORKS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC)

ORDER 2026

The Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above Temporary Traffic Order under S14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Order 1984 described below:-

Ferry Lane N17

Reason for 14(1) Order – To accommodate construction works on Ferry Lane N17 between Broad Lane and Mill Mead Road

Scheduled datesGeneral Effect of the Order
Date: 20th July 2026 to 21st June 2027Suspension of mandatory cycle lane on both sides of Ferry Lane N17 between Broad Lane and Mill Mead Road.
Times: 24hrs
Dates:Road closure of Ferry Lane N17 between Station Road and Mill Mead Road.
Four overnight road closures in August 2026
Three overnight road closures in December 2026
Six overnight road closures in June 2027
Times: 8pm to 5am (the following day) for each closure date
NOTE: The exact dates of each closure are subject to final agreement which will be notified in advance
The order will come into operation on 20th July 2026 and may continue in force for up to 18 months or until works have been completed, whichever is earlier.

The provisions of the Orders shall apply only at such times and as directed by traffic signs. For road closures, alternative routes will be directed by traffic signs. Access will be maintained where possible. For more information contact visit our website at www.haringey.gov.uk/traffic_orders
