What is happening?
TEMPORARY CLOSURE 481046 HIGH STREET (BARTON & TREDWORTH WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 481046 High Street from its junction with Falkner Street to its junction with Dynevor Street for a distance of approximately 130 metres.
The reason for the closure is for maintenance works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 08:00hrs on 27th July 2026 until 17:00hrs on 4th August 2026 only. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF 401209 NAAS LANE (BROOKTHORPE WITH WHADDON PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of 401209 Naas Lane from its junction with Haresfield Lane to outside the property known as ‘Mount View’ for a distance of approximately 1.689 kilometres.
The reason for the said closure is for kerbing and drainage works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A430 ST ANN WAY (HIGH ORCHARD BRIDGE) (MORELAND & WESTGATE WARD) GLOUCESTER CITY
Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of A430 St Ann Way (High Orchard Bridge), from its junction with the Peel Centre entrance to its junction with Llanthony Place for a distance of approximately 100 metres.
The reason for the said closure is for bridge maintenance works.
The said road is expected to be closed from 07:00hrs on 27th July 2026 until 16:00hrs on 7th August 2026 only or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road will be maintained. Emergency Access will not be maintained due to works spanning the carriageway.
