(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ) ORDER 2026
On 29 June 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on the sewer works on behalf of Scottish Water) on Balmalloch Road, Kilsyth from the boundary between 152/154 Balmalloch Road to the Western extent of Highland Park by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order will come into operation at 0001 hours on Monday, 13 July 2026 and will remain in operation until 1800 hours on Saturday 13 March 2027.
