1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham (‘the Council’) on 6 July 2026 made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to shorten a length of ‘shared-use’ parking place operating Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and introduce a Car Club only bay operating ‘at any time’ on the north-west side of Earlham Grove, outside No. 201 Earlham Grove.
3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into force on 13 July 2026, and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection during normal office hours on Monday to Friday by telephoning 020 3373 6415, by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk, or inspected at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, for a period of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
4. If any person wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
