LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(KING STREET AND STATION ROAD, CLITHEROE, RIBBLE VALLEY BOROUGH) (REVOCATION AND VARIOUS PARKING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 202*


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council propose to make the above Traffic Regulation Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to:
1. Revoke the "Lancashire County Council (Ribble Valley Borough Area) (On Street Parking Places, Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting) Consolidation Order 2009" insofar as it relates to Items (4)(ii) and (4)(iii) of Schedule 12.074.
2. Introduce a prohibition of waiting in the following lengths of road:
a) Station Road, Clitheroe, all sides, from a point 8 metres southwest of the centreline junction with King Street for a distance of 26 metres in a southerly, then westerly, then northerly, then easterly direction;
b) Station Road, Clitheroe, the north west side, from a point 5 metres south of its centreline junction with Railway View Road for a distance of 7 metres in a south westerly direction.
3. Introduce a prohibition of loading and unloading in the following lengths of road:
a) King Street, Clitheroe, the north side, from a point 32 metres northwest of its junction with the centreline of Railway View Avenue for a distance of 30 metres in a north westerly direction;
b) King Street, Clitheroe, the north east side, from its junction with the centreline of Market Place for a distance of 20 metres in a north westerly direction;
c) Station Road, Clitheroe, all sides, from a point 8 metres southwest of its centreline junction with King Street for a distance of 26 metres in a southerly, then westerly, then northerly, then easterly direction;
d) Station Road, Clitheroe, the west side, from a point 5 metres southwest of its centreline junction with Railway View Road for a distance of 7 metres in a south westerly direction.
4. Introduce a goods vehicle loading bay in King Street, Clitheroe, the south west side, from a point 64 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Market Place for a distance of 8 metres in a north-westerly direction.
5. Introduce a limited waiting parking place for 20 minutes with no return within 1 hour in Station Road, Clitheroe, the west side, from a point 12 metres south of its centreline junction of Railway View Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.
6. Introduce a limited waiting parking place for 1 hour with no return within 1 hour Monday to Saturday between 9am and 7pm in the following lengths of road:
a) King Street, Clitheroe, the south west side, from a point 52 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Market Place for a distance of 12 metres in a north-westerly direction;
b) King Street, Clitheroe, the south west side, from a point 32 metres north west of its junction with the centreline of Market Place for a distance of 6 metres in a north-westerly direction.

A copy of the draft Order and associated documents for proposing to make the Order may be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of Ribble Valley Borough Council, Council Offices, Church Walk, Clitheroe, BB7 2RA and at the offices of The Director of Law and Governance, Lancashire County Council, County Hall, Fishergate, Preston PR1 8XJ, and on Lancashire County Councils Website
