THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:
Glasgow Road, Camelon from 08:00 on 10/07/26 until 17:00 on 19/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glasgow Road, Camelon from a point adjacent to number 254 in a northerly direction for approximately 10 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: A803, Wilson Road, Glasgow Road or vice versa.
Watling Street, Camelon from 08:00 on 10/07/26 until 17:00 on 19/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Watling Street, Camelon from a point adjacent to A803 in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Wilson Road, Wall Street, Watling Street or vice versa.
Inches roundabout & A88 approaches including Muirhall Road and Burns Avenue from 07:30 on 13/07/26 until 17:00 on 17/07/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway surfacing work to be carried out safely.
1. This Order temporarily closes Belllsdyke Road between Bellsdyke Roundabout and Tryst Roundabout – including 50m approaches on Muirhall Road and Burns Avenue to Inches Roundabout.
2. Alternative Route - A88, A9, B905, B902, A88 and vice versa.
Secondary routes:
1) Burns Avenue, Tryst Park, McIntyre Avenue, McCartney Road and vice versa.
2) Muirhall Road, thereafter merge with main diversion route at Main Street (B905).
Abbots Road, Falkirk from 08:00 on 14/07/26 until 17:30 on 18/12/26. The prohibition is to allow for Canal Works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Abbots Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to the canal in a southerly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
B816, High Bonnybridge from 22:00 on 14/07/26 until 06:00 on 15/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge Inspection-Repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes B816, High Bonnybridge from a point adjacent to Broomhill Road in a southerly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B816, A803, B816 or vice versa.
Wilson Road, Camelon from 08:00 on 14/07/26 until 17:00 on 16/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Wilson Road, Camelon from a point adjacent to Glasgow Road in a southerly direction for approximately 25 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Wilson Road, Wall Street, Watling Street, Glasgow Road or vice versa.
Greenbank Road, Falkirk from 22:00 on 15/07/26 until 06:00 on 16/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Bridge Inspection-Repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Greenbank Road, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Carradale Avenue in a southerly direction for approximately 500m metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is Greenbank Road, C15, B803, B8080, B816, Greenbank Road or vice versa.
THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:
A706/Baker Street, Bo'ness from 09:00 on 13/07/26 until 18:00 on 17/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on A706/Baker Street, Bo'ness from a point adjacent to A706 in all directions on both sides for approximately 140 metres or thereby.
Main Street, Avonbridge from 08:00 on 16/07/26 until 23:59 on 20/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for ironwork repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Main Street, Avonbridge from a point adjacent to B825 in a westerly direction on both sides for approximately 80 metres or thereby.
Muirhead Road, Stenhousemuir from 09:30 until 18:00 on 16/07/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Muirhead Road, Stenhousemuir from a point adjacent to King Street in all directions on both sides for approximately 70 metres or thereby.
