THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(TINACRE HILL) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the
Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on Tinacre Hill from its junction
with Bridgnorth Road to outside Wightwick Hall School.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 20 July 2026 until 2 August 2026.
The diversion route is: Perton Road, Wightwick Bank,
Bridgnorth Road and vice versa or Bridgnorth Road,
Jenny Walkers Lane, Perton Road, Pattingham Road and
vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate gas mains replacement
works by Cadent Gas.
