BRIMINGTON ROAD (BUS GATE), TAPTON
WHEN: 27 July to 29 July 2026 (20:00 to 05:00).
WHERE: Brimington Road (Bus Gate), Tapton from its Jct. with A619 Chesterfield Road for a distance of 20m in a southerly direction.
REASON: To facilitate bus gate resurfacing works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Daytime Only - A619 Chesterfield Road (westbound), Rother Way Interchange, A619 Chesterfield Road (eastbound). Diversion when junction under nighttime signal control - A619 Chesterfield Road (eastbound), Brimington Interchange, A619 Chesterfield Road (westbound).
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
