LIVERPOOL CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC NOTICES

Roger Mann, Head of Law (Planning & Regulatory), City Law & Governance, Legal Services, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH. Dated 9 July 2026 (Menlove Avenue & Allerton Road) (Temporary 20 mph Speed Limit) Order, 2026 Notice is hereby given that the Council intends to make the above-mentioned Order under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding at a speed exceeding 20mph along the: - 

(a) southbound carriageway of Menlove Avenue/Hillfoot Road, from a point 184m northwest of its junction with Allerton Road to a point 67m south of its junction with Allerton Road; 

(b) northbound carriageway of Menlove Avenue/Hillfoot Road, from a point 203m south of its junction with Allerton Road to a point 45m north of its junction with Allerton Road; 

(c) southwest bound carriageway of Allerton Road/Woolton Road, from a point 163m northeast of its junction with Menlove Avenue to a point 79m southwest of its junction with Menlove Avenue; & 

(d) northeast bound carriageway of Allerton Road/Woolton Road, from a point 184m southwest of its junction with Menlove Avenue to a point 59m northeast of its junction with Menlove Avenue, from the 27 July to 13 November 2026, or for such a lesser period of time as dictated by the earlier completion of the works which are to safely enable Council contractors to undertake essential highway maintenance works.
