Sandhurst - Temporary Road Closure due to Vegetation Clearance Works

ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction along:
a) Rackstraw Road, Sandhurst between South Road and Acacia Avenue.
b) Rackstraw Road, Sandhurst between Acacia Avenue and Owlsmoor Road.
The alternative route for this closure is A3095 Rackstraw Road, A3095 Foresters Way, B3430 Nine Mile Road, A321 Lower Wokingham Road, A321 Wokingham Road, A321 High Street, A321 Yorktown Road, Rackstraw Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while the Highway Authority carry out vegetation clearance.
The proposed Order will come into operation on:
a) 26th July 2026 between 13:00 and 14:30,
b) 27th July 2026 between 12:30 and 13:00, its maximum duration will be 6 months.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
