Temporary Road Closure - Boarhunt Road & Spurlings Road, Fareham
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: Boarhunt Road between its junction with Spurlings Road and continuing to a point 350 metres Southeast on Boarhunt Road. Spurlings Road between its junction with Spurlings Industrial Estate and its junction with Boarhunt Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Wickham Road, Wallington Way, Cams Hill, Portchester Road, West Street, East Street, Southampton Road, Northern Road, London Road, Southwick Hill Road, Southwick Road, B2177. Wickham Road, Hoad's Hill, School Road, Southwick Road, B2177.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 20th July 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 5 days working between the hours 20:00-06:00).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Beacon Communication Services Ltd to complete pole replacement.
