TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS – KLEA AVENUE
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to facilitate water mains repair works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Klea Avenue between its junction with Cavendish Road and 9.5 metres north-east of that junction.
2. The alternative routes for affected vehicles would be available via Cavendish Road, Clapham Common South Side and Lynette Avenue and vice versa, and via Klea Avenue Shandon Road, Abbeville Road and Cavendish Road, and vice versa.
3. The Order would come into force on 27 July 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 1 month, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works would take 2 weeks to complete.
