BEVERLEY ROAD, NORTH NEWBALD (PART)

Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Beverley Road, North Newbald (between Stoneknowle Hill and Bushey Lane) commencing Monday 27 July 2026 (between 08.00 hours and 18.00 hours) to enable drilling to install a clean water main. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public.

The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 4 September 2026. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via the remainder of Beverley Road, Stoneknowle Hill, Newbald Lodge Road, York Road, Finkle Street, Dale Gate, Low Balk Road and Walkington Heads. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and emergency services only.
