ASHBOURNE ROAD, MACKWORTH

WHEN: 26 July to 01 October 2026 (for 10 days only within the permit dates.)

WHERE: Ashbourne Road, Mackworth between Brun Lane to B5020

 

Permitted hours of operations involving road closures

Location

Surface Dressing and Sealing Treatment

Associated Activities

A52 Ashbourne Road Mackworth

Sundays only 05:00-09:00hrs

Night closures only

Advance warning signs will be placed out prior to each closure.

REASON: To facilitate Surface Dressing and associated works.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ashbourne Road, Markeaton Island, A38, A516, A50, A515, and vice versa.

Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
