Temporary Closure of Ditton Street and Listers Hill

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Ditton Street - from the junction with Orchard Vale, southwards incorporating Listers Hill to the junction with Long Close. A total distance of 187 metres. This Order will enable Adam C Taylor Ltd to carry out pole replacement works on behalf of National Grid.

The Order becomes effective on 22nd July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 29th July 2026 and last until 31st July 2026 between the hours of 8:00 - 18:00 for a total of 3 days.
