What is happening?

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order
the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a closure to the section of Public
Footpath BCRIV/1 commencing from ST74856441 and proceeding in a generally ESE
direction for approx 96m to a junction with Broad Quay at ST74936438.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the right of way: namely the applicant will be carrying out sewerage and cabling
works. The Order will come into force on 24th August 2026 and will be effective for three days.
