Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: South Street - from the junction with Market Street, south-eastwards for a total distance of 69 metres. This Order will enable Dunmore SW to replace a frame and cover on behalf of Openreach.
The Order becomes effective on 22nd July 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 31st July 2026 and last until 1st August 2026 between the hours of 19:00 - 06:00 for a total of 1 night.
