TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (Yorkshire and Humber) (No.11) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of an irregular shaped area of highway to the south of Howbeck Drive at New Edlington, in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster. This is to enable development as permitted by City of Doncaster Council, under reference 25/01432/OUT.
Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/Y&H/S247/6291). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Edlington Library, Martinwells Centre, Thompson Avenue, Edlington, DN12 1JD.
Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 3 July 2026.
