What is happening?

PUBLIC NOTICES

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Gillies Hill, Cambusbarron) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-7-26.

This Order will close:-

Gillies Hill For its entire length from 27-7-26 until 31-7-26 to facilitate public utility works.

Emergency Service access will be maintained.

Alternative Routes: via Wallace Place.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (High Street, Dunblane) (Temporary Suspension of Parking) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-7-26.

This Order will suspend the parking on:- High Street From the most southerly part of the layby on the west side of the road adjacent to No 1 High Street in a northerly direction for a distance of 5 metres or thereby from 27-7-26 until 31-7-26 to facilitate public utility works.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Blairforkie Drive, Bridge of Allan) (Temporary Suspension of Parking - No 4) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-7-26.

This Order will suspend the parking on:- Blairforkie Drive On the west side of the road from its junction with Ferniebank Brae to its junction with Allan Walk from 0730 hours until 1530 hours from 13-7-26 until 27-7-26 to facilitate roads maintenance works.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Upper Castlehill, Stirling) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic and Suspension of Parking - No 2) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) on 3-7-26.

This Order will close: Upper Castlehill From its junction with Lower Castlehill to its junction with Castle Wynd.

This Order will also suspend the parking on: Upper Castlehill On both sides of the road approximately 8 metres from the south-east gable end of No 3 Upper Castlehill in a north-westerly direction for a distance of 40 metres or thereby from 1700 hours until midnight from 14-7-26 until 17-7-26 to facilitate building inspection works.

Alternative Routes: for south-eastbound traffic (traffic coming from Ballengeich Pass) via Ballengeich Pass, Ballengeich Road, Raploch Road, Dumbarton Road West, Albert Place, Corn Exchange Road, Spittal Street, St Johns Street, Mar Place, Castle Wynd. for north-westbound traffic (traffic coming from Castle Wynd) via Castle Wynd, Broad Street, Bow Street, Baker Street, King Street, Corn Exchange Road, Albert Place, Dumbarton Road West, Ballengeich Road, Ballengeich Pass.

The COUNCIL made The Stirling Council (Glasgow Road / Milton, Whins of Milton, Stirling) (Restriction on Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended on 3-7-26.

This Order will amend the existing waiting restrictions:- Alter the existing No Waiting at any Time Restrictions on the following section of roads to No Waiting and Loading at any Time Restrictions on Glasow Road / Milton, Whins of Milton, Stirling to prevent indiscriminate loading and waiting on the grounds of road safety.

This Order will also introduce:- A new loading bay on the following section of road: Milton, Whins of Milton, Stirling to facilitate deliveries for the businesses on Milton.

A COPY of the Order, may be requested by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk and quoting Ref No TM/6 - SRO/2026(179). Anyone wishing to question the validity of this Order, should write to the Court of Session within six weeks of 3-7-26.

The STIRLING COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Off-Street Parking Places) (Decriminalised Parking Enforcement Amendment) (Stirling City Centre Sunday Charging) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to introduce parking charges on a Sunday in all Stirling city centre car parks.

The restrictions are required to effectively manage and control parking and to prevent indiscriminate parking.

Objectors must state their reasons in writing to Head of Service, Environment and Place by e-mailing traffic@stirling.gov.uk by 29-7-26 quoting reference number TM/6 - SRO/2026(226).

The STIRLING COUNCIL propose to make The Stirling Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and Parking Places) (Decriminalised Parking Enforcement) (Amendment) (Stirling City Centre Sunday Charging) Order 2026 under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

This Order proposes to introduce Sunday charging for all on-street parking within Stirling City Centre.

The restrictions are required to effectively manage and control parking and to prevent indiscriminate parking.
