What is happening?
Renfrewshire Council
The Renfrewshire Council proposes to make the undernoted Orders and Amendment Orders in terms of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The Renfrewshire Council (Prohibition and restriction of waiting, loading and parking places) (Consolidation & Amendment) Order 202*, ref. TRO 1009.
The Renfrewshire Council (Prohibition and restriction of waiting, loading and parking places) (Consolidation & Amendment) Order 202*, ref. TRO 1010.
The Renfrewshire Council (Elderslie, Canal Street) (Prohibition of driving) Order 202*, ref TRO 552.
The Renfrewshire Council (A726 Southbar Road/A726 Bridgeway) (40 mph Speed Limit) & (Revocation) Order 202* ref TRO 551
TRO 1009 is considered necessary: for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road or any other road or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising by reducing risk to all road users and to maximise and manage use of available road space on roads within the Council area.
TRO 1010 is considered necessary: for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road on completion of the cycling infrastructure works, or any other road and for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising by reducing risk to all road users as per above.
TRO 551 is considered necessary: for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road on completion of the cycling infrastructure works.
TRO 552 is considered necessary: for avoiding danger to persons or other traffic using the road on completion of the cycling infrastructure works.
