Edison Road - Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (EDISON ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Edison Road, Eccles, M30 7FL, for its entire length. The Order is necessary for carriageway resurfacing and road marking.
The order is due to come into operation on Thursday 6th August 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 14th August 2026.
The diversion routes are via:
• Barton Road - Peel Green Road, vice versa.
• Barton Road - Liverpool Road - Alexandra Road - Haddon Road - Peel Green Road, vice versa.
