What is happening?

THE LEICESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make the following Orders under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. The works will be completed within the period of the Orders. The Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders are being enforced for public safety.

HOLBOURNE CLOSE, BARROW UPON SOAR
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
It is expected that the Order will come into force on 05/08/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach to undertake duct laying works.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 1 day to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT to undertake replacement of a manhole frame & cover. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 03/08/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 5 days to allow Midlands Road Surfacing Ltd on behalf of Willian Davis Homes to undertake remedial carriageway resurfacing works. The proposed diversion route will be via: A512 Ashby Rd West, Charnwood Rd, Anson Rd & vice versa.

It is expected that the Order will come into force on 03/08/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 4 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake the installation & connection of new pipeline. The proposed diversion route will be signed on site.

The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow MJ Quinn on behalf of BT Openreach to undertake duct laying works. The proposed diversion route will be via: Mountsorrel Ln, Garland & vice versa.

The Order will come into force on 21/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 3 days to allow Leicestershire County Council to undertake carriageway patching. The proposed diversion route will be via: Brand Ln, School Ln, Forest Rd, Woodhouse; Forest Rd, Main St, Church Hill, Woodhouse Eaves; Brand Hill, Woodhouse & vice versa.

FAIRWAY ROAD, WICKLOW CLOSE, SHEPSHED
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
The Order will come into force on 21/07/2026 and have a maximum duration of 3 months. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 days to allow Severn Trent Water to undertake infrastructure repairs & maintenance. The proposed diversion route will be via: Fairway Rd, Trueway Dr, Trueway Dr South, Fairway Rd South, Fairway Rd & vice versa.
