Worsley Definitive Footpath 42 - The Order Is Necessary For Works On The Residential Development
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (WORSLEY DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH 42) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a public right of way closure on Worsley Definitive Footpath 42 for its entire length. The Order is necessary for works on the residential development, including earthworks and road and sewer constructions. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 3rd August 2026 and will last for a period of 6 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Tuesday 3rd November 2026. The diversion routes are via Hawthorne Drive - Elm Crescent - Alfred Avenue - Greenleach Lane - Broad Oak Park - Hazelhurst Road - Partington Street - Hazelhurst Fold - Worsley Definitive Footpath 43, vice versa.
