Upper Park Road - The Order Is Required For Investigation Works On The Drain Due To Persistent Flooding Issues
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (UPPER PARK ROAD) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a road closure on Upper Park Road, at the junction of Park Lane, Salford, M7 4JA. The Order is required for investigation works on the drain due to persistent flooding issues. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 3rd August 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 14th August 2026. The diversion routes are via Park Lane - Old Hall Road - Waterpark Road, vice versa.
