Chevin Road - Temporary Road Closure To Replacement Of Telegraph Pole
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHEVIN ROAD, MILFORD
WHEN: 27 July to 28 July 2026 (between 10:00 to 16:00).
WHERE: Chevin Road, Milford, between Sunny Hill to Well Lane.
REASON: To facilitate replacement of telegraph pole.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Chevin Road, Derby Road, Milford Road, Town Street, Broadway, Wirksworth Road, Ashbourne Road, Farnah Green and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
