What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE RISLEY LANE, BREASTON
WHEN: 27 July to 04 September 2026
WHERE: Risley Lane, Breaston from outside near Meadow Farm to outside Bridge Farm.
REASON: To facilitate the replacement of gas mains.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Risley Lane, Main Street, The Green, Draycott Road, Station Road, Victoria Road, Hopwell Road, Nottingham Road, Derby Road, Breaston Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re- open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic
