What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE LEAPLEY LANE, YEAVELEY
WHEN: 27 July to 31 July 2026 (between 08:00 and 17:00 each day)
WHERE: Leapley Lane, Yeaveley between Bentley Cottage Farm and Jct. with Long Lane.
REASON: To facilitate fibre cabling works.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Leapley Lane, Wyaston Road, Hales Green, A515 , Cubley Common, Derby Lane, Muse Lane, New Road, Alkmonton Road, Ashbourne Road, Long Lane, Boughton Road, Church Broughton Road, Ashbourne Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
