HOCKERING – C173 Heath Road from 535m southwest of its junction with B1535 Weston Green Road for 45m south-westwards to facilitate drainage and soakaway installation from 6th to 17th July 2026 (may continue until 28th August 2026). Alternative route is via: C173 Heath Road, B1535 Weston Green Road/Sandy Lane/Frans Green/Wood Lane, A47, C517 The Street and vice versa (Hockering, Honingham, Weston Longville, East Tuddenham). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

KIRBY CANE AND ELLINGHAM – U71545 Old Yarmouth Road from 165m southwest of its junction with A143 Broome Bypass for 30m south-westwards to facilitate water connection works from 6th to 8th July 2026 (may continue until 19th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Old Yarmouth Road, Yarmouth Road, A143 Broome Bypass (Ellingham, Ditchingham, Broome). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

LODDON – U76346 Mill Road from its junction with U76345 Pyes Mill Road for 350m southwards to facilitate fibre network installation works from 6th to 17th July 2026 (may continue until 28th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Mill Road, Norton Road, Pyes Mill Road. The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.

LONG STRATTON – C889 Norwich Road (southbound lane only) from its junction with A140 Norwich Road Roundabout for 163m southwards to facilitate drainage works from 6th to 17th July 2026 (may continue until 28th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Long Stratton Bypass, Ipswich Road, The Street. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

MUNDFORD – C41 Methwold Road (also known as Mundford Road) from 170m west of its junction with A134 Cranwich Road for 130m westwards to facilitate pole testing works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 6th July 2026 (may continue until 17th August 2026). Alternative route is via: C41 Mundford Road, B1112 Stoke Road/Main Road/Methwold Road, A134 Whittington Hill/Thetford Road/Cranwich Road, C41 Mundford Road (Methwold, Northwold, Cranwich, Mundford). The works promoter is BT.

NORTH ELMHAM – U35104 Heath Road from 425m west of its junction with U35103 Greatheath Road for 40m westwards to facilitate culvert headwall repair works from 8th to 9th July 2026 (may continue until 20th August 2026). Alternative route is via: U35104 Heath Road, C232 Road From Heath Road To Gateley, C233 Gateley Road, C243 Church Road/Centre Road/Mill Road/Ryburgh Road and vice versa (North Elmham, Gateley). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

NORTON SUBCOURSE – C385 Loddon Road from its junction with U76353 The Street to its junction with U76354 Church Road to facilitate fibre network installation works from 6th to 20th July 2026 (may continue until 31st August 2026). Alternative route is via: Loddon Road, Norton Road, Beccles Road, A146 Loddon Bypass, B1136 Yarmouth Road, Beccles Road, The Street (Norton Subcourse, Haddiscoe, Hales, Heckingham, Loddon, Thurlton, Raveningham). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd.

ROCKLANDSA U33036 Fen Street from 180m south of its junction with U33030 Stowlay Lane for 120m southwards and B) U33030 Stowlay Lane from its junction with U33036 Fen Street to its junction with U33037 Low Lane and C) U33037 Low Lane from its junction with U33030 Stowlay Lane to its junction with U33038 St Andrews Lane to facilitate pole test works between 09:30 and 15:30 on 8th July 2026 (may continue until 19th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Road A: U33030 Stowlay Lane, U33037 Low Lane, U33038 St Andrews Lane, C158 Rocklands Road/Mount Pleasant, U33032 Sandy Lane, U33036 Fen Street and vice versa. SCOLE – C341 Burston Road from its junction with U76070 Scole Common to its junction with U76072 Church Road to facilitate carriageway repair works from 8th to 9th July 2026 (may continue until 20th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Scole Common Road, Norwich Road, A140 Dickleburgh Bypass, Dickleburgh Road, Burston Road, Station Road, Crown Green, Audley End, Rectory Road (Dickleburgh and Rushall, Scole, Burston and Shimpling). SPOONER ROW – U78326 Guilers Lane from its junction with C140 Bunwell Road for 1420m eastwards to facilitate patching works on 7th July 2026 (may continue until 18th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Bunwell Road, Guilers Lane, Wattlefield Road, Potters Lane, Hill Road (Bunwell, Spooner Row). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

STOW BEDON AND BRECKLES – B1077 Caston Road from 330m northwest of its junction with Brayes Lane for 30m north-westwards to facilitate new water connection works from 8th to 10th July 2026 (may continue until 21st August 2026). Alternative route is via: B1077 Attleborough Road, C136 Hingham Road/Attleborough Road, B1108 Church Street/Watton Road/Norwich Road, B1077 Caston Road (Hingham, Scoulton, Great Ellingham, Caston, Stow Bedon and Breckles). The works promoter is Anglian Water.

SWARDESTONSwardeston Bridleway 9 from its joining with U78025 Gowthorpe Lane for 485m north-eastwards and Swardeston Bridleway 11 from its joining with U78025 Gowthorpe Lane for 435m eastwards and Swardeston Bridleway 12 from its joining with A140 Ipswich Road for 1100m westwards to facilitate cabling works from 6th July to 27th November 2026 (may continue until 5th January 2027). Alternative route is via: N/A. The works promoter is M Group Services.

THETFORD – Brandon Road from its junction with London Road to its junction with Castleford Close to facilitate HRA patching works from 6th to 8th July 2026 (may continue until 19th August 2026). Alternative route is via: Clockwise: A134 Brandon Road, C587 London Road, A11 Northbound, A134 Brandon Road. Anti Clockwise: A134 Brandon Road, A11 Southbound, C587 London Road, A134 Brandon Road. The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

TOPCROFT – C368 Low Road from its junction with C369 Church Road for 1840m northwards to facilitate fibre network installation works from 8th to 21st July 2026 (may continue until 1st September 2026). Alternative route is via: Church Road, Mill Road, Oxnead Lane, B1527 Hempnall Road, Triple Plea Road, Church Road (Topcroft, Wootton, Hempnall, Bedingham). The works promoter is CityFibre Metro Networks Ltd. NB: Access will be provided to Shakes Lane from Kings Road up to the points of closure.

KING'S LYNN – U21426 Low Road from its junction with C8 High Road Roundabout to its junction with C57 Mill Road to facilitate HRA patching, gully, and offlet works from 6th to 9th July 2026 (may continue until 20th August 2026). Alternative route is via: C57 Mill Road, C8 Lynn Road/High Road (Wiggenhall St. Germans, King's Lynn). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

NORDELPH AND OUTWELL – A1122 Downham Road from its junction with Watermans Way to its junction with Pinchusion Drove to facilitate surface dressing works from 6th to 27th July 2026 (may continue until 6th September 2026). Alternative route is via: Downham Road, Church Terrace, Wisbech Road, Isle Road, Rectory Road, Town Street, New Road, Townsend Road, Main Road, Welney Road, Main Street, Wash Road, Bates Drove, A1101 Wisbech Road, A10 Lynn Road, Ferry Bank, A10 Southery Bypass/Lynn Road/Fordham Bypass/Downham Eastern Bypass, A1122 Southern Bypass/Western Bypass, Station Road, Bridge Road, Lady Drove (Downham West, Downham, Denver, Downham Market, Southery, Littleport, Hilgay, Fordham, Ryston, Welney, Outwell, Upwell). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council. NB: These works will take place in phases: Phase 1: between 19:00 and 05:00 from 6th to 9th July 2026  Phase 2: between 19:00 and 05:00 from 9th to 13th July 2026  Phase 3: between 19:00 and 05:00 from 22nd to 26th July 2026.

TOTTENHILL – C54 Whin Common Road from 350m west of its junction with A134 Stoke Road for 40m westwards to facilitate bridge parapet and fence repair works from 9th to 10th July 2026 (may continue until 21st August 2026). Alternative route is via: Whin Common Road, Stoke Road, Lynn Road (Wormegay, Tottenhill). The works promoter is Norfolk County Council.

UPWELL – U21153 Small Lode from 11m west of its junction with C18 Low Side for 22m eastwards to facilitate new sewer connection works from 6th to 10th July 2026 (may continue until 21st August 2026). Alternative route is via: Low Side, Church Terrace, Rectory Road, Town Street, New Road, Listers Road, Small Lode (Outwell, Upwell). The works promoter is Brockstone Group.

Unless otherwise stated, the effect of these Orders will be to prohibit the use by traffic of the named road(s)/footpath(s). In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance. Where an Order is for a reason other than works it is because of the likelihood of danger to the public or of serious damage to the road/footpath. Anticipated dates are stated but the Orders may continue until the end date where necessary or required. The Orders are revoked on the end date or on the actual date of removal of the prohibition/restriction where earlier without further notice. If necessary, the restrictions can have a maximum duration of 18 months or 6 months in respect of footpaths, cycle tracks, bridleways, restricted byways, and byways open to all traffic (BOAT).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.
