Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Sections 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Barley Mow Lane (D3621) Knaphill as extends from its junction with Barley Mow Close (D3622) to its junction with Chobham Road (C11); and
2. suspend “The Surrey County Council D3621 Barley Mow Lane, Knaphill Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” insofar as it relates to the length of road in 1.
Alternative route – Anchor Hill, Littlewick Road, Barrs Lane and Chobham Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate fibre cabling works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 4 August 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.
Vale Farm Road (D3642) Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1), 14(5) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Vale Farm Road (D3642) Woking as extends from the access for “The Metro” to the access for “82 Vale Farm Road”; 2. prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of Vale Farm Road (D3642) Woking as extends from its junction with Wilbury Road (X95285) to its junction with Oaks Road (D3642); and 3. suspend “The Surrey County Council Vale Farm Road (D3542) Woking (One-Way Traffic and Revocation) Order 2015” to allow this section of Vale Farm Road to be used in both directions.
Alternative route – Vale Farm Road, Oaks Road and Goldsworth Road, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Cappagh to facilitate sewer repairs and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 4 August 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 9.30am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained at all times.
D3663 Board School Road, Woking
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of D3663 Board School Road, Woking. This Traffic Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out water mains repair and/or maintenance and/or associated works in D3663 Board School Road, Woking between C143 Chertsey Road, and D3663 Portugal Road. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 4pm within 3 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 28 July 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, businesses and emergency services will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes:- A Chertsey Road, Stanley Road and Walton Road. B Chertsey Road, Boundary Road and North Road. C North Road, Boundary Road and Chertsey Road.
