What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CHURCH LANE, MUGGINTON
WHEN: 27 July to 10 August 2026.
WHERE: Church Lane, Mugginton, at the Jct. of Tag Hole Lane.
REASON: To facilitate the Excavation for the connection to main sewer and mains water supply.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Church Lane, Green Lane, Bullhurst Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
