THE BOROUGH OF WATFORD

(HIGH STREET, WATFORD)

(WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Watford Borough Council, acting as agents for Hertfordshire County Council has made the above-mentioned Order pursuant to arrangements made under Section 19 of the Local Authorities Act 2000 and in exercise of powers conferred on that Council under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers. The order came into effect from Monday 25th May 2026.

The general effect of this order was to amend the hours within the shared use bay located on High Street, Watford, adjacent to Café Nero, From: Goods Vehicles Loading Only Monday to Friday 2am to 11am at all other times no waiting except taxis To Goods Vehicles Loading Only Monday to Friday 2am to 9am at all other times no waiting except taxis.

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any of the provisions contained in them, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may within 6 weeks of the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose
