What is happening?

REDCAR AND CLEVELAND BOROUGH COUNCIL
SPENCERBECK HOUSE, ORMESBY (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2026

Not less than 7 days herefrom the Council intends to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the lengths of footway specified in the Schedule below.

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person from proceeding along the footways specified in the Schedule below. Alternative pedestrian access will be available at all times which will be indicated by signposting.

The Order will come into operation on 10.8.26 and remain in operation for 18 months, but it is envisaged that the works should be completed within 5 weeks.

Closure of footways from 46 Ellerbeck Way to Side of Overfields Primary School, Ormesby; from 30 Garsbeck Way to 18 Rosewood Close, Spencerbeck; from 67 Starbeck Way to Side of Overfields Primary School; side of Overfields Primary School, Daisy Lane, Ormesby.
