Stonelaw Road Junction Improvements, Rutherglen
Temporary Road Closure Order 2026

On 17 June 2026 South Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended, which will make it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle on each road stated below, at their junction with Stonelaw Road. 

The Order will be in operation for each location on dates below.

Parkhill Drive Monday 6 July to Monday 20 July
Highburgh Drive Monday 20 July to Wednesday 5 August
Rodger Drive Monday 20 July to Friday 31 July
Melrose Drive Wednesday 5 August to Thursday
20 August
Crosshill Drive Wednesday 5 August to Thursday
20 August
Limeside Drive Thursday 20 August to 31 August
Southhill Drive Thursday 20 August to Friday
9 September
Johnstone Drive Friday 4 September to Wednesday
16 September
Viewpark Drive Friday 4 September to Wednesday
23 September
Dryburgh Drive Thursday 24 September to Friday
9 October
Alternative Routes: diversions will be signposted on site
