HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN fod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn dan A14 (1) (b) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Gwneir y gorchymyn oherwydd tebygolrwydd perygl i’r cyhoedd.  

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd cau dros dro y llwybrau troed a fanylir yn y tabl isod ac yng nghorff y gorchymyn ac fel y nodir yng nghynlluniau’r gorchymyn.



 
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 15/07/2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am hyd at chwe mis a gall fod angen ei ymestyn tu hwnt i’r cyfnod hwn drwy wneud cais i Weinidogion Cymru.  

Yn rhinwedd Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodwyd dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
SECTION 14(1)(b) - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984  

MONMOUTHSHIRE BRIDGES – VARIOUS COMMUNITIES
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER JULY 2026    

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make an Order under S14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The order will be made due the likelihood of danger to the public.  

The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close the footpaths detailed in the table below and in the body of the order and as indicated on the order plans.


The Order will come into force on the 15/07/2026 and will remain in force for up to six months and may need to be extended beyond this period by application to the Welsh Ministers.  

By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person who contravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guilty of an offence.
