HYSBYSIR drwy hyn fod Cyngor Sir Caerfyrddin yn bwriadu, heb fod yn llai na saith niwrnod wedi dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, gwneud Gorchymyn a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag mynd ar hyd y B4317 Heol Capel Ifan, Pontyberem, Llanelli o'r gyffordd â'r B4306, Heol y Parc, am oddeutu 130 metr i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin.

Lle bo'n bosibl caniateir i gerddwyr ac i gerbydau gael mynediad i eiddo unigol drwy gydol y cyfnod y bydd y ffordd ar gau. 

Y ffordd arall fydd ar hyd y B4306, y B4309 a'r B4317, ac i'r gwrthwyneb.

Bydd y Gorchymyn arfaethedig yn parhau mewn grym wrth i Gyngor Sir Caerfyrddin osod goleuadau traffig.

Bwriedir i'r gwaith ddechrau ddydd Llun 20 Gorffennaf 2026, am gyfnod o 6 wythnos.

Lle bo hynny'n briodol gall Gorchmynion Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd dros dro barhau mewn grym am hyd at ddeunaw mis.

The County of Carmarthenshire
(B4317 Capel Ifan Road, Pontyberem, Llanelli (SA15 5HW)) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the Carmarthenshire County Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the B4317 Capel Ifan Road, Pontyberem, Llanelli will extend from its junction with the B4306, Heol Y Parc for approximately 130 metres in a South Westerly direction. 

Pedestrian and vehicular access to individual properties will be maintained where possible throughout the duration of the closure.

The Alternative Route will be via the B4306, the B4309, the B4317 and vice versa. 

The proposed Order will continue in force Carmarthenshire County Council carry out the installation of Traffic Signals.

It is intended that the works commence on Monday 20th July 2026 and will remain in place for a duration of 6 weeks.

Where appropriate temporary Road Traffic Regulation Orders may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months.
