What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE DONCASTER AVENUE, SANDIACRE
WHEN: 27 July to 31 July 2026
WHERE: Doncaster Avenue, Sandiacre between the end of the cul-de-sac and the Jct. with The Greenway.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway resurfacing .
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Doncaster Avenue, West Avenue, Stevens Road, Wood Avenue, Travers Road, Kings Road, Albert Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished.
This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
