(Dewsbury Avenue, Holmfirth Road, Stanley Road, Scunthorpe) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Orders 2026
Notice is hereby given that North Lincolnshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make Orders in respect of the following Roads in Scunthorpe. The respective effect of those Orders will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along Dewsbury Ave, Holmfirth Rd and Stanley Rd from 8am 27th July - 6pm 15th Aug 2026 (but varied, if necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances) for carriageway resurfacing by NLC.
The diversion for the Dewsbury Ave closure is Stanley Rd, Scotter Rd, Ferry Rd, for the Holmfirth Rd closure is Scotter Rd, Dewsbury Ave, and for the Stanley Rd closure is Scotter Rd, Ferry Rd, Dewsbury Ave, Marsden Ave - all routes in reverse.
