(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2024 (AMENDMENT NO.---) ORDER 202-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bridgend County Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as “the Council”) as the Highway Authority for Pencoed, intend to make the following Order in exercise of their powers under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (2), 4,124(1) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act of 1984) as amended, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police and in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984 the effect of which will be to amend the following restrictions in the BRIDGEND COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LOADING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2024 (“the Consolidation Order”), as amended, by the revocation of the Order Plans AN58, AN59, AO57, AO58, AO59 and AP58 dated 29.11.2024 and the insertion of the revised Order Plans AN58 Rev 1, AN59 Rev 1, AO57 Rev 1, AO58 Rev 1, AO59 Rev 1 and AP58 Rev 1, the effect of whBridgend - Prohibition Of Waiting, Loading And Parking Places Orderich will be as set out in the Schedule below. Objections or representations to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made, must be sent in writing addressed to the undersigned at the address, below or by email to traffictransportation@bridgend.gov.uk, by the 07/08/2026.

1. INTRODUCTION OF A PROHIBITION OF WAITING LOADING AND UNLOADING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTION
Glossop Terrace, Pencoed - (i) On its southern side, at its eastern termination point, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 6 meters (7 yards). (ii) On its southern side, at its eastern termination point, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 5 meters (6 yards). (iii) On its northern side, at its eastern termination point, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 15 meters (16 yards). (iv) On its northern side, from a point 15 metres (16 yards) northwest of its eastern termination point, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 4 metres (4 yards).(v)On its northern side, from a point 19 metres (21 yards) northwest of its eastern termination point, in a south westerly direction for a distance of approximately 9 metres (10 yards). Heol Yr Onnen, Pencoed - (i) On its southern side, at its western termination point, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 17 meters (19 yards).
(ii) On its southern side, at its western termination point, in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 4 meters (4 yards). (iii) On its southern side, from a point 4 metres (4 yards) east of its western termination point, in a north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 9 meters (10 yards). (iv) On its northern side, at its western termination point, in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 5 meters (5 yards).(v)On its northern side, from a point 5 metres (5 yards) east of its western termination point, in a south easterly direction for a distance of approximately 8 meters (9 yards). Coychurch Road, Pencoed - (i) On its eastern side from the boundary 98/100, Coychurch Road for a distance of approximately 52 meters (57 yards) in a northerly direction, then 6meters (7 yards) in an easterly direction.
(ii) On its eastern side from the northern boundary 66, Coychurch Road for a distance of approximately 122 meters (133 yards) in a southerly direction, then 6meters (7 yards) in an easterly direction. Felindre Road, Pencoed - (i) On its southern side, from a point approximately 45 meters (49 yards) east from its junction with Coychurch Road, for a distance of approximately 75 meters (82 yards). (ii) On its southern side, from a point approximately 157 meters (172 yards) east from its junction with Coychurch Road, for a distance of approximately 147 meters (161 yards) .
(iii) On its southern side, from its junction with the A473, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 145 metres (159 yards). A473, Pencoed - (i) On its western side, from its junction with Felindre Road, in a southerly direction, for a distance of approximately 30 metres (33 yards).
2. INTRODUCTION OF A PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTION
St Johns Drive, Pencoed - (i) On its southern side, at its eastern termination point, in a westerly direction, for a distance of approximately 5 meters (5 yards). (ii) On its southern side, at its eastern termination point, in a northerly direction, for a distance of approximately 7 meters (8 yards). (iii) On its northern side, at its eastern termination point, in a north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 4 meters (4 yards). Coychurch Road, Pencoed - (i) On its western side, from the boundary 58/60, Coychurch Road, in a northerly direction for a distance of approximately 129 meters (141 yards).
(ii) On its eastern side, from a point 21 meters (23 yards) south from its junction with Glossop Terrace, in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 47 meters (51 yards). Felindre Road, Pencoed - (i) On its northern side, from a point 9 meters (10 yards) east from its junction with Coychurch Road, for a distance of approximately 63 meters (69 yards). (ii) On its southern side, from a point 8 meters (9 yards) east from its junction with Coychurch Road, for a distance of approximately 37 meters (40 yards). (iii) On its southern side, from a point 10 meters (11 yards) east from its junction with the eastern side of Felindre Avenue, in a westerly direction for a distance of approximately 79 metres (86 yards).
