CYNGOR BWRDEISTREF SIROL CASTELL-NEDD PORT TALBOT (TABERNACLE STREET, SKEWEN) (REVOCATION) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME) (LIMITED WAITING) (DISABLED BADGE HOLDERS ONLY) AND (RESIDENT ONLY PARKING) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is given that the Council intends to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 45, 46 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is as set out in the Schedules below.
A copy of the draft Order, plan and statement of reasons can be inspected on the Council's Internet Website https://www.npt.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders-tros
Any objections should be submitted in writing, setting out the reasons thereof, to reach the Head of Engineering and Transport, The Quays, Baglan Energy Park SA11 2GG by 28th July 2026.

Schedule 1 - Revocation
1.1 Any existing residents parking orders, limited waiting orders, disabled parking orders and prohibition of waiting at any time orders are hereby revoked in so far as it relates to the lengths and sides of roads set out in the Schedules of this Order.
Schedule 2 - Proposed No Waiting At Any Time
2.1 Bethlehem Road, Skewen (South West Side)
From its junction with New Road for a distance of approximately 21 metres in a south easterly direction.
2.2 Bethlehem Road, Skewen (South West Side)
From its junction with Tabernacle Street for a distance of approximately 23 metres in a south easterly direction.
2.3 Tabernacle Street, Skewen (West Side)
From its junction with Bethlehem Road for a distance of approximately 24 metres in a southerly direction.
2.4 Tabernacle Street, Skewen (West Side)
From a point approximately 31 metres north east of its junction with Old Road for a distance of approximately 31 metres in a northerly direction.
