GRANGE ROAD, CROFT ROAD, CARMEL ROAD SOUTH, SNIPE LANE, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:
GRANGE ROAD
From the south side of the entrance to Blackwell Grange Hotel southwards to the A66 roundabout
CROFT ROAD
From the north side of the entrance to Evans Halshaw northwards to the A66 roundabout
CARMEL ROAD SOUTH
From the south side of Buckenhall Drive junction southwards to the A66 roundabout
SNIPE LANE
From the A66 roundabout eastwards for 20metres
Alternative routes will be signed.
The Order is necessary to allow works by National Highways to carry out road resurfacing on the A66 roundabout.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure under this Order is 18 months commencing from 10<sup>th</sup> August 2026, it is anticipated that it will be effective between 2000hours and 0600hours for 4 nights.
